# Managing BTC balance

This is an important tab, where you can manage your account BTC balance. Here are the steps to successfully create a new deposit and manage your BTC balance.

1. Click on "Create Deposit Request"
2. This will give you a new address in the "your deposit history" section
3. Use that address to deposit your desired amount of BTC (tracked in sats)
4. Once transferred from your preferred wallet, click on "confirm deposit"
5. If the transaction is confirmed by the chain, it'll change to "confirmed" and the address will get striked out
6. NOTE: Do not reuse addresses to deposit BTC, this might make your transaction untrackable by the system. To aid this, the address get striked out on your account section
7. If the confirmation has not yet happened, ensure that you can track your tranactoin on <https://mempool.space> and verify before contacting support
